Writing_Escrita - Twitter

     A Writing_Escrita é uma página bilíngue que tenho no Twitter e se destina a incentivar a escrita e a leitura, falando também de diversos assuntos. Embora haja o limite de 140 caracteres no Twitter, agora é possível anexar até 4 imagens a cada postagem e procuro variar minhas publicações com citações de autores diversos, imagens interessantes, dicas de escrita, leitura e tradução, cartões cômicos, etc.

     Uso o Twitter para conhecer pessoas e culturas de todas as partes do mundo, além da minha, e a Writing_Escrita tem seguidores daqui e diversos lugares. É uma página recente, com poucos seguidores ainda, mas não me importo com esse detalhe, pois meu objetivo não está relacionado ao número de seguidores. Hoje em dia, até se vendem “lotes de seguidores”, o que sinceramente acho engraçado. Respeito quem vende e compra, pois cada um tem seus motivos para isso, mas não é o meu caso.

     Quando criei a Writing_Escrita, segui todas as páginas que achava interessantes e continuo fazendo isso ocasionalmente, mas, em geral, deixo a página lá tranquila e vou seguindo de volta quem segue a minha página. Me concentro mais nas postagens propriamente ditas, nas que faço e nas dos outros.

     Como costumo brincar, a Writing_Escrita é a irmã gêmea da Escrita_Writing, que tenho no facebook, embora ambas não sejam idênticas. Não deixo as suas páginas interligadas e faço postagens diferentes em cada uma delas.

     Writing_Escrita is a bilingual page I have on Twitter that aims to encourage writing and reading, but it’s also about general subjects. Though there’s the 140 characters limit on Twitter, now it’s possible to add up to 4 images with each post, and I vary the things I post with quotes from several thinkers, interesting images, writing, reading, and translation tips, comic cards, etc.

      I use Twitter to know more about peoples and cultures from all over the world, including my own, and Writing_Escrita has followers from my country and several other places. It’s a recent page, with few followers yet, but I don’t mind that because these things I aim are not related to the number of followers. Nowadays, people even sell “followers by the lot”, what I frankly find funny. I respect those who sell and buy them, because each one has their own reasons for this, but that’s not my case.

      When I created Writing_Escrita, I followed every page I considered interesting and I continue to do that occasionally, but, in general, I just leave the page calmly there and follow back those who follow me. I concentrate myself mostly on the posts themselves, on those I do and from others.

     As I use to joke, Writing_Escrita is the twin sister of Escrita_Writing (https://www.facebook.com/EscritaWriting) , which I have on Twitter, though they are not identical ones. I don’t connect one page with the other and posts different things in each one of them.
